Catarina Guerra Gonçalves and Daniel Xavier, following 15 years of legal practice in an international context, have decided to establish their own law office to employ their characteristic technical quality and vast experience.

Catarina Guerra Gonçalves
Catarina Guerra Gonçalves began her path in legal practice in Portugal at Miranda, Perdigão & Associados. In 2006 she embraced the challenge to practice in Macau, where she was part of the prestigious law firm of Leonel Alberto Alves until late 2021. In Macau, she was a member of the board of the General Meeting of the Macau Lawyers Association until late 2021.
In 2022, she returned to her birthplace of Covilhã, Portugal to establish her own law office.
Catarina Guerra Gonçalves work is primarily focused on assistance to companies on issues relating to banking law, data protection, credit recovery, bankruptcy law and contract law, and on the assistance to individuals on matters concerning family law, inheritance law and real estate. Catarina Guerra Gonçalves also holds a vast experience in the field of notary and registry law.

- Law degree by the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa) in 2005;

Daniel Xavier
Daniel Xavier began his lawyering life at Álavaro Dias & Associados. In 2006, he embraced the challenge of pursuing his activity in Macau, where he joined the team of the prestigious lawyer Leonel Alberto Alves until 2013. In 2013 he joined the law firm of Luís Cavaleiro de Ferreira, Ricardo Silva & Associados, where he developed his practice with emphasis in gaming law. In 2022, he returned to Portugal to establish his own law firm. He works primarily in business support in the areas of business law, corporate law, labor law, insurance law, tort law and intellectual property law.
